Northeast Zone Sports Council is very pleased to announce our new partnership with NORTH SIDE MITSUBISHI.

North Side Mitsubishi have agreed to sponsor three of our hockey teams - the Peewee 1 team will be NORTH SIDE MITSUBISHI CHILL, the Bantam 1 team will be NORTH SIDE MITSUBISHI CHAOS, and the Midget 1 team will be NORTH SIDE MITSUBISHI MIDGET 1 team.

In addition, General Manager, Casey Loga has generously offered on-going funding and support to our sports programs. Casey is open to new ideas and would welcome our teams to use the North Side Mitsubishi location to host fundraising events like hot dog sales or as a staging area for bottle drives. North Side Mitsubishi has also offered to help us fund kids whose families would otherwise not be able to have their children participate.

Northeast Zone Sports Council, the Baseball, Hockey and Softball Committees will work with North Side Mitsubishi for the benefit of northeast Edmonton kids and their families. Drop in and meet General Manager Casey Loga - thank him and the North Side Mitsubishi team for their generosity and support and have a look at some great Mitsubishi vehicles.

2010 SOFTBALL INDOOR SKILL/CONDITIONING CAMP

The Edmonton Warriors Athletic Association invites all Softball Players to attend the 2010 Indoor Skill/Conditioning Camp at the Kinsmen Fieldhouse.

The Edmonton Warriors Athletic Association has been supporting young athletes in metro Edmonton for over 30 years. The Warriors encourage you to enhance your skill set and attend these conditioning/skills camps that also include advanced pitching instruction.

These camps are instructed by skilled instructors and are open to all softball players in all categories: Mites, Squirts, Peewee, Bantam, Midget, Junior & Senior.

2010 SERENITY LANDRY MEMORIAL FAIRPLAY SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

Thank you to all teams, players, coaches, parents and volunteers who participated in the 2009 tournament. There was lots of great ball played, the weather was terrific and we all had a good time.

2009 SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL RAFFLE

Thank you to everyone who supported the NEZ Softball & Baseball Edmonton Eskimo Season Ticket Raffle for 2009! Through this important fundraiser approximately $4500.00 was raised for each of the ball programs. This money is used for all the "extras" for the players. Events such as the Softball Player Spring Camp, the Fun-A-Rama, the Baseball Rookie, Mosquito & Peewee Tournaments, the Rally Cap Days are all helped by these funds. Things like the water bottles full of candy, the penny carnival, helium balloons, t-shirts and bounce houses are all possible because of the money raised through these raffles. In addition a third of the funds are turned back to the teams that sell the tickets. The teams use this money for pictures, tournaments, year-end parties.....

So thanks you to the coaches, the players and their parents for their hard work selling the tickets and thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and helped to support minor ball in Northeast Edmonton. And congratulations to the raffle winners.

2009 QUICKCARD EDMONTON MINOR HOCKEY WEEK

The 2009 Minor Hockey Week was successfully completed. There was lots of great hockey to enjoy. The Quickcard Minor Hockey Week involved 534 teams, over 8500 participants ranging in age from 7 to 17, 23 arenas, 30 sheets of ice, 68 final games, over 3000 volunteers and over $40,000.00 of donated time on behalf of the referees.
